West Coast Pull Series???

postal--dude I'm going ups and postal shortly----

there will be a whole new line of classes---stacked, campershelled and lumber racked---

stacked and campershelled

stacked and lumberracked

non-stacked and campershelled and lumberracked

non stacked and campershelled

non stacked and lumberracked----

that should take care of the REAL PULLING TRUCKS----chris

You guys are already complicating things!! Maybe one more class...maybe another one....

You are going to have a heluva time selling two classes, let alone anymore.

Man, I am just so :bang:bang :frown: that my truck will not be running to contribute to this huge Lancaster event. This kind of event is going to need all the trucks it can get to help us out for future events. I'll help spead the word....:Cheer:

Joe

I can see how a work stock class may be more hassle than anything. Most of the trucks would probably only show for a small % of the pulls. Where the trucks in the bigger classes are more dedicated and likely to show at a much higher % of pulls.
But I think that it's very important that the word gets out that Work stock/local trucks are welcome and encouraged to attend and pull. I see it all the time around here (pulling and other events). If a promoter says local trucks are welcome they usually get a good turn-out from the locals. If they say Stock class they get less trucks and if they don't say anything...

My wife and I are waiting for a way to log in so the site can be changed.

What pulls are going to be considered "sanctioned pulls"? I will link the shedule page to CSSPulling.com so there is something to start with.

That sounds good to me. I don't want this whole thing to go dead after we debated for over 140 posts about it.

Has anyone contacted Brian from MLM to see about getting his pulls as a baseline for the series? Get that boy to commit to a schedule. I can't wait. I'm going to try and make it down for the Antelope Valley pull. It MAY be the same weekend as Redneck Games in Red Bluff Ca, if they do that the same weekend as they did last year.

Ok, I just googled and found it, appears as though it is the same weekend... but maybe it won't be a conflict for people.

I heard the RedNeck Games were cancelled this year. That link you posted has last years dates on it.
I would not miss out on the Lancaster event Angela. We need all the people we can get down there for support of the sled pull.

What's wrong with setting up a points series with Brian Massetti and maybe working out a purse with him and just go to all of his pulls? Beacause i really don't think we have enough diesels to start a diesel truck pulling series, the dedicated ones I can think of are; me, Tom C, Scott V, Nick D, Angela, Howard H, Albert, Joe G, Joel G, Victor Silveira, John Esteves, and that's about all I can think of. James and Keith silva are done, what about Matt Lewis, or Cody?
maybe we can start are own series but pull with MLM?

Include me in this. Howard just told me about this thred. All very good points so far. It wil take me time to read through this thred as I only have about an hour of free time a day. I am working on this as well.

After watching the latest Newman video, I will never hook to the L&L sled. That thing is deadly. I have seen what happens when the weight box takes off and the stops break.

I'm waiting to hear from Psychstroker if we can gain access---Zipp can't get into it and if Psycho can't then plan b will have to commence----chris

Pangela---I talked to Brian--MLM and he's willing to listen, but it will depend totally on #'s ----chris

So what is it that makes their sled any different than any other sled?

The weight box should have a brake system. If it does then the sled operator needs a lesson. IMO, the sled should have much bigger stops at the end. The new sleds are "down hill" sleds, as the weight box goes forward, it goes down rather than up.

That's good to hear. Brian's reasonable, of course if it can get pulled together, it'll work out.

Is there information we need off the current site? or can we open up a new page on godaddy.com or something. That thing is cheap.

Here is a thought, If Brian is willing to listen and get Mike L&L involved, Why dont we get together after a pull or in a central and talk about it. We can bring our ideas and make a set of rules that would benifit everyone. Keep in mind we will not be able to make everyone happy. Then set up a time to meet with Brian and Mike and see what they have to say. This meeting with Brian & Mike may have to happen this winter, but it will give all of us time to brain storm. This is just a thought.

Eureka pull June 25th (wed) More info on my site soon. (MLM)
