1955 Buick special 12v swap.

So I got the engine apart some more.
I have Brazil rods. So that's cool lol.

And here's the worst of the cylinders and the only rod bearing that wore through the babbit.

Worst part is. Long ago(3 years) I guess.
I traded a 48 International I-4 that I restored for this engine. It's cool though. I couldn't give the tractor away. Just was hoping for a drop in special. But I'm glad now because I know it will be all fresh.

At this point I wouldn't have it any other way. I mean why wouldn't I want the crank to be scored? Lol
Hard to tell but it just catches the fingernail.
Ugh. Maybe a polish will do

They don't figure in the end. So I'll make it best I can.

nice panel work there. I like using the side of a body dolly for sharper edges on panels.

I was thinking the corner on the wheel well was sharper than on the new panel, but I looked at it again on my phone for a clearer pic it looks near perfect is why I thought I put my foot in my mouth. can't wait to get to do some body work on my project.

Picked up some ford 9" axles from trucks.
One from a 67 f100 and the heavier one from a 79 f150. Both have rotted tubes.
