I was drooling over that truck earlier in the day! those are some nice numbers! As of Saturday night my brothers truck had the highest fuel only HP numbers (other than Dmitri)at 833/1527 but we have not heard anything else or found results posted anywhere.

Looks like there was a real good turn out and you guys cranked through them, much faster than up in numidia and the current air is way better than it was in numidia. When do you guys normally do it in the spring and like a month or so heads up would be awesome, so I could get the time off work. My wife makes good food.

I was curious if you guys (MDTDC) had ever looked into past average horsepower numbers as compared to current.
I know back in the early days 400-500 were the big power #'s, and HP numbers climbed pretty steady through the years. I'm just curious, because it seems the numbers have leveled out over the last few of years.

I have all the records up until I passed the torch a few years ago but with the rest online I could do that for you.

2001's show the first year was won with 331hp and the reason I know that it was my truck with a gentleman who later moved to OK second around 329 in a 24v truck.Numbers didn't get to awful crazy until Jetpilot and SledPuller slipped into the shows and then later F8tlDose's 792.

It will take a little time but I will go back with my records and put them all into order and post them later,I would be interested to see what was made and when also.......Andy

I did some hunting on the MDTDC forum last night, I was amused looking at 2005 numbers (including my own) compared to today!
