I'm starting on a new project, a 1934 IH C1 i picked up local. going with the rat rod theme but I will be racing it as much as possible. hopefully i will be able to make it to most of the southeast diesel races and find a class to compete in. probobly going to have to be pro street because of the light weight this thing is going to be.

plans for now to get running will be 12v,47rh,9" ford. hx40/s480 with some 5x.018 sticks for now till it drives and i can spend more on engine parts. please post any comments,as any help is welcome.

That looks awesome! I would love to have something like that!

Man you need some bullet holes in that thing! That looks sweet

Et goals are somewhere in the 9's.I would like to go faster but it will take some time to sort the suspension out.
I don't think it should take very much hp to get there. It should be around 2500-2800 pounds complete

Looks like you're closer to pro stock than street at that weight.

I think i would of went with a different front end for the speed you'll be hitting, I always thought those old front ends weren't worth much maybe im wrong? Or your a lot more adventurous than me? lol The build looks awesome though. Another question how does your anti sway bar work? Or is that something else that im seeing. I would love to have a street cruiser rat rod like that though except mine would have a dt360 in it to keep it all IH

I'm going to be adventurous and try the axle. The kingpins and bearings are tight so it should be fine. There are a lot of cars that have been fast on them..
The swaybar end inks are welded to a torsion tube that is inside the tube attached to the frame.there are poly bushings inside it. That's a Jegs piece.

Nice truck.

Is the engine from '94 truck with IH block casting ?:poke:
