6.7 cummins in a 2nd gen

Looking great man, I've always wanted to stick a 6.7 in my 2nd gen as well. Never thought it would take as much work as this though ?

Got a DL10 starter kit, should I buy direct from rpm-perf or a retailer? Looking to go with

-2 pressure
-2 temperatures
-6 egt
-rpm

And possibly

Oil temp, coolant temp, trans temp, oil pressure

Here's the 1/2 dodge front axle I've prepped for Cory. Since I've decided to go with 9" rear axle he is going to narrow this Dana 44. The plan is to keep the tires tucked without a bunch of back spacing.

Just curious but why not start with an older non cad axle from a ford or some thing?

Because this version of the 44 was a drop in axle. Control arms, track bar , steering links all in the same location. All it would take to get to the older version is a knuckle swap, which might happen.

I was thinking more for getting rid of the cad cutout. I suppose it wouldn't be hard to get the tube out either in the same sense.

Made it down to dows shop to drop off the Dana 44, pick up the stock front/rear axles, and finally sold my factory bed.

Pulled the factory steering column, t case lever bezel/boot, and shifter mount. Next project will be removing the noise/heat dampening material off the floor.

Let me know if the dry ice method works for removing the stuff on the floorboard.

Had a chance to go check out what was going on at Dow's last week, thought it was cool to see boddies car in there.

Picked up my freshened up goerend 47re from browns as well. Also opted for 27 spline input, maraging intermediate, 29 spline output TCS shafts, billet drum, and 48re style rear drum, fresh altos, and a few other modifications.

I'm excited for your build. The 44 front is going to be awesome $/weight if it all
Works out. Did you go with a trans brake vb?
