And this is what needed replaced when the chain stretched in this one.

Wow... Wonder if the shaft material in the 271 is different quality. I'm not sure I understand why people would rather use the 271 over a 241 with the idea of ability to take abuse

Just for reference he has the shaft labeled backward. The 71 is the huge shaft

That's pretty amazing I thought I was doing decent at 450

$450 is below normal price range to, I don't think the place knew what they had honestly. Has 106000 miles on it and a little piece of webbing is cracked off, I'm not complaining it will still work fine. I'm going to throw a new chain in it and call it a day.

How much are chains? I was hoping to be able to hold off on a chain for a bit just because I am down to the wire with cash

Recently... Busiest time of the year right now, also so dam hot it takes a lot of motivation to go in the shop and work on it.

Going to give the frame a good pressure wash and remove a lot of unnecessary crap off the frame, remove the u bolts with hacked plates that were thrown together at the time with some brand new hardware. Mount the adjustable shocks, and make a draw bar hitch.

That a waterman on a common rail? Also what are the intentions of this truck?

Yup sprint 700. Before I was old enough to drive I was inspired by diesel power challenge and have dreamed of building a truck capable of doing everything. Where I'm at it's a 2 hour drive to a legit track in Sacramento, and pulling season is from May to October where most of the tracks are less than 1hr away.

I'll be pulling more than racing before I have a cage done by the Dow Bros.

Btw CA is still in the "brush pull" era

Super street - unlimited turbo, 8k #, RWYB hope you brought enough
Street "2.6" - no comprehensive tech, 8k #, mostly stock/bolt on trucks (duramax dominated)
