A little encounter with a ls1 camaro

Fastest ever was a 13.4 but that was a completely different setup I was running a stock turbo and a 150 shot now i have twins and a little more fuel but I havnt ran it at the track on my current setup
 
UUHHHMM no, the camaro was'nt even revving when he came around you and if he was going 110 mph that car would have been making a little more noise than it was. The car sounded like it was loafing along at about 55 mph in OD. That car with no mods will run deep in the 12's on spray all day long.
 
not bashing you or your driving at all but does your truck have a dual disc in it? seamed like it took a minute to shift between each gear?

nice run tho, i wont lie i have engaged in a 'test' on the road before

So ur saying my truck only does 55 in 6th gear when u can clearly hear me shift 4 times and I launch in second gear so if u do the math that's 6th and I'm clearly in the higher revs when he comes around me so clearly a was way over 100 mph you moron

if that car is that loud "loafing along" i would surly hate to hear it when he was actually in on it hard :doh:

dude.....i whooped the dogsh!t out of a 2010 SS camaro with my 12 valve.....and the 2010 is 10000000x faster than an LS1.....JMLB7.....GTFO

If you consider 6 tenths or so 10000000x faster. The newer cars are heavier, around 200-300 lbs or so maybe more

A friend of mine had a 98 z28 with nothing other than a 150 shot and it went 11.20s at 121ish. We are at sea level here not sure about the video shown.

hmmm......i wonder why my buddy's 2000 Z28 with programming, cats removed, and some other stuff got its ass kicked by a 2010 SS then....he lost by A LOT more than 6 tenths

Driver error would be my guess or bad programming. You're talking about a 2000 car bone stock which should be running mid 13s at worse vs a 2010 car which should be running 12.9s a worse i.e. 6 tenths.

If the 2000 is an a4 with a stock stall and 2.73s however that would explain it given they are pigs in that config
