Air shut offs

Okay i built mine from a blast gate, but now where do i get the piece of 5 inch rubber hose to connect the shut off to my turbo?

Got it almost done. What have you done or made to run a air filter? My air filter tube wont work now.

Will it hurt if the intake tube is against the alternator? What is the angle of the stock intake tube?

This is mine been running it for three years but the indoor pull we had up here the ppl rep that teched the trucks said can't use it cause of the rubber 45 we had going to turbo I thought that was odd so is that going to be inforced everwhere or is this a grey area I have seen them on other trucks

Are you guys who use the blast gates, adding the springs yourselves or are there some that come with them already? I'm not finding any with springs.

Nate it depends on the tech, some of them are worried that once the gate is closed the turbo will cause the boot to collapse and not kill the motor.

Well, I just ordered two blast gates and a 200 pc spring kit for $30... but I'm impatient and paid $20 for one day shipping. Anywho I'll get some pics up as soon as I get it figured out exactly how I need it.

One I built out of a blast gate. Have about $50 in it

Well heres the main part of it. I have maybe $30 into it and thats because I bought two 4" blast gates and a 300 piece spring kit at the same time. That and maybe 20 minutes of time is way better then paying a couple hundred for the exact same thing from a pulling parts place. I want to know what kind of pins are you guys using to be able stay in until pulled by the cord?
