budget racer to 13.98

My junker calculates to 385 Hp when it ran 13.68 @100.8 mph with a race weight of 5500 lbs.

I too plan to race on Wednesday with high hopes of low 13's and 105 MPH trap speed.

no thats not exactly true... the problem is that all these diesel trucks come in ... mostly powerstokes and 3rd gen dodge owners (sorry to say) and they all talk crap about how fast thier truck is and they rev thier engines blowin smoke and slinging dirt (basically going " look how coool i am. i can break the tires loose in the dirt")everywhere but when it comes to the race they dont run and after talking crap about how some truck ran on the dirt track they wont run on the 1/4 mi. track or the street either. Theres only one powerstroke that races consistantly with us and he runs about the same quarter time you do just his is a 6.4
 
I had a HX40 in my other truck I put in the 97. I have a HT3B I'm getting re-built so I can twin it!

and some tranny work. (stock head bolts and gasket)
29.5/10.5/15 with 3.55 it will run 7.71 all day long.
just got some almost new 31/10.5w/15 to try this weekend.

racing on the cheap is so much more fun.
