D-Max Nova

Not yet, maybe by mid week next week. We should be back up and running by the 1st of the month. Changing a few things up that we don't like.

Here is the Novas Big Brother we ran last season.

At the season opener we had an issue with the A/W IC dumping water in the motor. I ended up going through the motor and found a few damaged bearings, but all else looked good. We just finished up this Dry Ice IC last night, and rushed to the track to make a 1/2 pass at 9pm. Off the throttle way before the 1/8 mi and went 1.50 6.30@91mph. The wheelie bars hit hard enough to unload the tires for the first 10'. Still needs a bunch of tuning on the suspension and in the ECM, but it's wicked for sure.

Here is the video of our first 400' hit. Spun the tires pretty good and coasted after about 400'. This was the very first boosted launch with this new car/combo. We were planning on heading to Denver for the NHRDA event but after checking everything post TNT realized we have some issues to address. Hopefully we will make Oregon at the end of the month.

We did learn a lot out of this hit. IAT, launch RPM and boost level, tires, susp and ECM tuning. We still have a long road in getting this thing figured out. Way different than the Chevelle and how it handles the power :-)

Holy $HIT!!!!!

Sick ass ride and if I have time I'll be stopping by tomorrow evening since I'll be in town picking up my dads car right down the road.

Looking good guys, will be fun to see it run at Woodburn, I think Brad Ponzi will have his truck there as well as with the Hell Camino

Cool pic from before the turbos lit. Ended up killing the Gear Vendor on this pass. We are ditching the GV since we shouldn't need it with the big tire this season.

can you share any of the number or is it all top secret?

Nothing secrete, we haven't ran it out the back door yet. Still working on suspension and tuning before we let loose.. We will be making full passes this coming weekend with NHRDA in Woodburn Or.
