Duramax/Alli in a Super Duty

Well a couple more little loose ends and it is done! Starts and runs good now, and it is not pouring fuel out the exhaust anymore!

Pretty sure no one else has this picture. Picture is not very good but a V2 running in a Ford with a Allison tapshifter! And a digital DSP5 switch.

About two years late on that one LOL!

Glad to see you getting it finished out though. I kinda wish we had went with the duramax on our swap for ease of integrations sake. Would have made things much easier as far as getting the transmission to function properly.

Edit: didn't catch the dsp5. Still waiting on that for the 6.7

I guess you are right! I was not even thinking about EFI for a Cummins! Should have used the black Duramax only V2!

I cant wait to drive it more, I have only been able to move it around the yard because of crappy weather but it wants to go fast for sure!

Well got to drive it for a few miles tonight and it runs pretty damn good. You are not a man if that truck does not make your pants fit funny! Ill get some more pictures and videos tomorrow when its light out.

Well truck is done and gone now. Didnt get a chance to get any good video because it was less than 10 degrees for a week strait and snowing. Oh well some other time.

hmmmmm...Too many bad ideas in my head from this thread.
:rockwoot:

Beautiful craftsmanship and attention to detail!

Gawd pre-08 fords have ugly dashes

I will have to say that is quite possibly the most beautiful Duramax motor I've ever seen, usually they look like pig poop crammed into an engine bay because all wires and hoses going everywhere! this is a very impressive truck

It still has way to many wires going everywhere. I just buried them! :lolly:
Glad it turned out good though man my goal is to make it look as factory as possible that's why I made sure it fit under the stock hood.

Nice work and great job on the build! I'm sure it was a PITA having all those issues you couldn't control. Great job!!

That's a 3rd gen / ford pump there isn't it?

Sent from my flashscan v2

Looks good.. Never thought of that. However I did tell myself that I would mount that hole vacuum pod and pump on the frame..

Yep. Just ordered a new one when I pulled the Cummins. I never pulled the wiring for it when the Cummins conversion was done so it made it easy. It only runs the auto hubs now since the HVAC is gone.
