homebuilt Injection Pump Test Stand

Yeah I've been in the room while testing p-pumps they are loud for sure. I wasn't running the stand but I was tuning the pump. That stand the pump kept spinning the whole time but it had a counter and a start stop button. It was all on the fluid side somehow.

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.
 
Kind of a stale thread but as far as the fluid side, you'll have a start button, that's when the counter starts and a catch tray pulls back allowing the fluid to drop into the cylinders. When the counter reaches it's cycle count the tray quickly moves back under to catch the fluid and bypass the cylinders. The fluid is always moving and you're not trying to stop it. Just bypass the measuring system.

This is how the older Bosch benches worked.
