I think I killed my DTT 47RE

The 6 pinion front planet and annulus is thinner. The 47 and 48 use same intermediate shaft.

Got a tank of fuel through it on the new trans build. Seems good so far. Maintains 160psi in lockup. I plan to up that just a touch in the immediate future.

Every hard part I inspected showed little to no damage. In fact, all of them still had the white lube from where I had just assembled it. It only had 38 miles on it when it lost pressure.

Unless you mean the first time. The first assembly got new bushings

:thankyou2:

Yes I was referring to the first time
Yeah, it got bushings in everything I had apart, but I'm not gonna lie, I couldn't tell you anything other than the large direct drum bushing. I don't recall there being that many.

I hope it stays together this time because I like how it's shifting. OD is killer. I'm going to have to rework the shift points on it fo-sho

The glory of the anteater

Well, it's past 1000 miles on the repair now. Fluid is clean and it's still doing its thing. The hose that blew out (and probably started all of this) is leaking at the push-lock fitting where I trimmed it and installed it in a parking lot. I installed a oetiker clamp but that didn't slow it down.
I'm debating on going to braided hoses.

I have a slow drip coming from mine and I've also blown it off 3x.im running - 8 fitting and have went through 3 new fittings trying to get it to seal. No dice

I'm curious now if there's a structure in the radiator causing restriction.
