If I get a complete donor truck, which I plan on doing, I can also shorten the GMT800 chassis and rework the body mounts to fit the whole thing under the Tahoe. I was just thinking it would be easier to retain the 30-gallon fuel tank and such using the Tahoe frame, but after we measure things out side by side it might turn out to be easier to shorten the Silverado 2500 chassis and stick it under the Tahoe. Either way I hope I can scrape together the funds to get it done!
