So now after owning it almost 3 years she is shortened with roll pan and sport grill bumper, lighter weight, 472, steed, oringed head with 150lb valve springs, arp 425s, Seth 12mm, 5x18s, no ac, no heat, no cruise, home built tappet cover, 2 vented valve covers, motor is resealed, built trans fmvb and transbrake, lowered on ugly 20x9s with 420s,22 gal fuel cell, home built caltracs, welded Dana 80 weighing in full of fuel with me in it at 5900 lbs. fuel cell is 22 gallon since it is still driven on the road. Timing is set on 20 degrees and right off the trailer it went 7.67 first time at the track .later that same day it cut a 1.69 60 foot spinning on old 420s(almost 3 years old)and ran a best of the day 7.44 once we bumped the fuel up to 400ccs. Gonna run the fuel pressure up and bump the timing to 24ish degrees with the fuel at 400 and see if we can get her down toward the 7.20 mark. It has been a damn fun time building this truck and even more of a riot to drive. Big thanks to my ol pal josh and my daddy for all the help! Next up is paint and shave a little weight with a hood stack setup!
