Mach 7(240HP) vs. Brand "x"

I know that there are a few other brands offering 240+Hp injectors and would like to know how they compare in fuel efficiency to the F1 Mach series.

With my Mach 7's....
In a recent trip to Tim Barber in VA I logged an exact 19.085 MPG over the course of 1173 miles round trip. (no trailer just 3 loose trans. on the back)average 75mph.

2weeks before I did a round trip to Daytona Beach, FL. pulling a 7x12 enclosed trailer full of racing equipt. with a best of 15.3mpg and average of 14.8mpg over 2,038miles. (average speed of 75mph).


So for the guys running brand "x"(240+HP).... what kind of mileage do you see city and highway?

good info....with the 6`s i got 18.5 mpg from Toronto Canada to Indy running 70+mph with the sled puller 66,... now with the twins it should be better...and i also have 200,000 on the org VP...so i am thinking with a new one it may get a little better also
 
Got 18-18.5mpg for daily driving 50/50 highway backroad miles, just took them out tonite, gonna send them back to Don for him to look over before going up for sale...The 7's idled and ran way smoother than these stock Sticks.
 
I used to get about 16-17 on the highway with these 11 holers but lately it's been 13-14 and I don't know why.
 
I'm getting 17-19mpg most of the time with My M7's. I haven't towed with them yet, but I did get about 14.5mpg towing 10K with my M6's.:rockwoot:
 
Thanks for the info guys... Anyone out there daily driving 200+HP DDP's to compare?
 
i'd get 17-18 with my 7x.012's, but i could never keep my foot out of it to get a full tank to know mileage, they are for sale right now in the classifieds.
 
I got around 13-14 this summer with some II 11 holes, but each tank of fuel had atleast one or two sled pulls on it...
 
i would get between 16-18 (420=480 mi) per tank with my ddp 220s and would have to play a couple times. thats with a sps 66. thats driving between 50-80.

yeah it likes to stretch its legs once and a while especially with the new smarty program. well it pegs 120 and keeps pulling hard. if i can sell my 220's ill look into your 240's for strip next year.

I about in the midlle between (within an hour an a half) Louisville, Cin,Indy!!

oh i probably would, i run my 220's for about a year with no prob but did have to change my oil a little more often. seemed like it was thinning out and getting fuel in it more if i waited till 3500mi

ill probably hit bunker a few times this year. I plan on going to indy, bowling green, and terra haute. I might have to go to muncie just let me know when your all going and ill see how the schedule works. Edgewater also around here in cincinnati.

Ha, there were a couple NEW cobras there with a smaller pully and some programming done but still couldnt hit second that good. So im sitting there talking to some guys ive met there. they actually knew the guys so they stopped buy with all smiles and he goes do you think you guys could beat this truck. Knowing ive already cracked off a few 7.9-8.1's. One looks and says with a laugh yeah why would i even bother. There all bragging about how good there running (8.6- 8.9's) If id of had any money i could have made some (50 bucks wasnt going to cut it, not for alll weekend) i wanted a few hundred BUT since im nice i just laughed and shook my head. Then i decide its time to put a few passed down. The guys i was talking to even payed for my entry just to make the runs. So i hop in the truck and start rolling up there when one lines up with me. I roll down the window and smile. We get up to the staging lane and at pre stage it starts spooling up and he looks over well at that point im staged when i have to let off just a tad. With my single if im at 20+ boost and let off its like a blow off but as soon as you touch the throttle again the boost is up again. So anyhow at that point the look was priceless, his eyes had the fear of god put im them (they were so big). Then the light turned green, the truck kicked sideways with all four tires smoking and everything that was in my dash was sitting behind my seat. With a 7.8x in the 1/8. I was happy and the guys i was talking to were just laughing as the guy in the cobra went putting by. They actually came over and said hi. Good sports.
