My Dream Shop 48x100

That is shaping up to be a really nice shop. I can really appreciate the though you put in as far as functionality goes. I know so many people have built garages/shops only to wish they would have done this or that differently.

Did your wife ever get her new car ?

Thanks I have done a ton of research to utilize the shop to its full potential. The week before thanksgiving we ended back up in the hospital with a emergency surgery on my daughter the day after we came home the dealer called and said it just came in so i went and got it and gave it to the wife She loves it.

You know....not once did I think of opening the split gate. :hehe:
well that's just silly did it damage it badly or was it salvageable ?
 
got the end of the purlins squared, secured and capped

I'm sure there was an elaborate plan including a complex diagram for your wire tie placement though. :Cheer:
 
Dad got his new skid loader parked in the shop now and i moved some stuff around moved the trailer out. Also finished the hallway

Got the Double Unistrut up for the overhead hoist in the machine shop. I started moving around my toolboxes to stage them where i think they should be and such. and the last bit of white metal i had on hand went up in the center for celling

I've never dreamed or seen uni strut used as a rail system...that cool!

And get an GFCI on those recepts close to the sink please. :D
 
got one of the Trolley Unistrut up haven't mounted a hoist up yet but i did start mounting some lights up

Looks good. I had some back to back strut that I gave away to a family member. Never thought to use it for a small bridge style crane. Where do you buy the end trucks? Can you snap a closer picture of the ends where the bridge attached to the rails?
