Nos, propane, more turbos?

ABSOLUTLY! expecially in a play truck. towing at constant temps you don't want over 1000 or so. for HP you need heat! 14,15,16,1800* who cares. its just a WOT run anyways. trick is tuning down low so you can still drive the sucker

lets guess and say you have 450cc of fuel. if your fair to good at tuning that's enough fuel for maybe 900ish hp. do you need that much? no so why not put things in a tunable range of say. 400cc which is maybe 800hp. now you have fuel both up and down to play with. now how many cfm do you need to move for said hp. probably around 100lbs. what kind of compressors get you close to that. your 75 is a 105lb. personally I think it to bulky as a single. look at some compressor maps on some smaller compressors. find something that is close. chances are as a single you are going to be well over the map anyways. it will be hot air. a smaller compressor will spool sooner. clean up some low end smoke. as will a better size injector and pump tuning. you need to sit down and do some figuring on an actual set-up.

not saying that wouldn't work. but you don't have the fuel to make them work like you want. and no. an 82 is way better suited for the 66 than a 75. I truly think you should spend a couple hundred and simply fix your current set-up. you have tons of potential left on the table. your trying to put 2000hp worth of turbos and fuel on an 800-900hp truck. it wont ever run the way you want it too.

Depends on what your wanting. Compounds are way more tame to drive. So the awe factor isnt nearly as high when they come on boost

Go with a small set of compounds, the truck will be fun to drive, clean, and will tow well. Like I said back on the first page I had about the same truck as my old work truck, s300g (which is a 57mm) internally gated with a box 475. I ran 5-18 injectors, 191 delivery valves, 25 timing and with the afc setup right was about smoke free. It would run hard in third, do rolling burnouts in 4th, towed great. I don't know what it would dyno but bet it was about 600. A big single on a 5sp sucks, it only pulls strong in 5th and about 90mph, kinda useless. There are allot better choices than a box 475 with the big turbine but it was cheap and ran good.

The problem with my current build is all the power is up high. There's no power band to speak of. And even when the turbo is lit I have enough throttle left I can literally feel the fire go out if I mash it. I either need less fuel or more air. Ive already paid to get the fuel into the cylinder so why not make it burn there and make power. If this becomes a trailer only drag monster then so be it. You'll find me at Iowa's oldest dragway.

You dont have the fuel you think you do. Your over injectored and over turboed. And i dare say a bit lost.

I run a 62/75 with 5x14's and am well into the 600's. There are guys on here with modified stockers over 475's in the 700's on dedicated trucks. You do not need the kind of air and fuel you are thinking you do.

Oh I'm I'm lost and I know it. That's why I'm asking for help. What do you mean by over fueled and over turboed? To be honest I guess I'd be happy with 800-900 horses with a broad power band.

You have way too much injector and not enough dlivery power. On top of that you want to use turboes that need more fuel than you can ever hope to put out with your 12mm pump. Get your pocket book out or build accordingly.

You have way to much turbo, if you only changed to a s364 and nothing else the truck would feel a lot stronger and drive good.
