One thing led to another. Build thread.

Great build. I'm following closely since I'm building a similar truck Do you think he would build some more of the control arms? I need a set for sure

Looking very nice. The Dow boys do very nice work. Make sure to tell them hello for me. Love the build.

JP,

You ever get your spring options figured out?

No, not yet. I'm going to wait until the truck is all back together, so I can get accurate corner weights. At this point, I'm still on the fence as to axle changes and back-half. I really want to do this right, even if it means missing most of this year.

Yup we dropped both the cooler and the abs stuff, no issues.

Good. Thank you for the info.

Erick at Brown's had this bada$$ trans cooler on the shelf, so I snagged it.

When I was down at Dow Brothers', we got the steering column and wheel mocked up where it needed to go.

This does not include the C2 half of the engine harness, passenger side battery wiring, grid heater wiring, door wiring, or cab wiring. I'm guessing there is somewhere around 50 pounds of wiring in a regular cab.

This was one of three piles of tape and loom that was discarded.

This is only a fraction of the wiring that was removed from the harnesses.

My fingers are a little raw but the wiring harness looks much cleaner now. I'm waiting on some more wire wrap to show up so I can finish it up. The new and improved bumper to bumper harness weighs 7 lbs. Best of all, I have a much better understanding of my truck's electrical system now. Big thanks to Chase L. and Erick for some help when I got hung up.
