Well, I got an FS-2500 coming, (With braided lines, and extra filter cartridge) Thanks to "bassn_07":Cheer:
And just bought a Mag-Hytec rear diff cover off fleebay for $300.00 shipped. )It comes with 7 quarts of Amsoil 75w-90, and 4 quarts of Amsoil 140w-90 Severe Gear oil.)
I tried to get prices from vendors here...but the auction ended too soon.
I also priced out the oil in town here at several places...$13.10 and $16.50 a quart.:bang
When ya look at it that way...it doesn't hurt too bad.LOL

Also purchased 20 feet of -10 braided Russell fuel line, 20 feet of -8 braided fuel line, all the fittings, and 4 packages of DEI 1" Cool Tube Extreme, 2 more Autometer gauge cups, and some gaskets that somehow never got ordered.

The fuel line is so I will be NHRA approved at the local track. (No more than 6" of NON-Reinforced fuel line is allowed.)
The heat sleeves are for covering the wires above the turbo, once I remove the funny plastic part...:pop: Gonna cover the fuel lines to the back of the heads now too. (Just-in-case)

I can't wait until this build is finished :st:

Yeah, the pistons just came back on Thursday from getting ceramic coating applied to the tops.
The shop sent the entire rotating assemble out on Friday to get balanced. (They did not want to do it, so they sent it to a shop that did more "Extreme" builds.) I'm kinda glad they told me that they weren't comfortable doing the balance...they said they have never done a diesel before, and would feel better if the other shop did it. (As they have alot more experience with balancing diesel engines, and have newer equipment.)

another month to go....:woohoo: :bang:bang:bang:bang:bang

Wow! Extended, you're running a -10 feed line to the engine and then feeding the front of the heads with -8 line? How big are your injectors and turbo? Seems like that's alot of fuel haha!

Did you forgo a regualted return kit and just built your own, in a round about way??

Not just the front of the heads...the back too.

Injectors are from Josh (Spartan Diesel) 200cc with 52LPM nozzles.

Turbo is a Turbonetics 61mm with the .68A/R.

The first system was made up of an Aeromotive #11110 marine grade pump, regulator, and filter, DAHL 200, 3/4" fuel pick up with 3/4" ID hose to the filter and pump, all the way to the front, then split into two 1/2" ID lines to the 2 separate fuel rails, then into 4 separate 3/8" ID lines for the front and back of the heads. The return line was also 1/2" ID, which passed throu a huge fuel cooler before going back to the tank.

This system was COMPLETELY overkill, but it worked the best for me so far...

I now have a FASS 150/180 running at 60 Psi. I am using it with the new lines now.

Ah ok, I posted that when I was a wee bit intoxicated and Now I understand. What are you going to do for a turbo?

Right now I have a 61mm with a .68 A/R.

I'm thinking of changing to a 66mm thou...

Bin trying to call Eric and Ted for 2 days now...playing phone-tag...

was the 61mm a turbonetics turbo? How did the 200's and the 61mm work as a combo(power, turbo lag, egt's)?

My truck has been down since February...

The rebuild is taking for EVER because of parts needed, and WANTED.
I have never even installed the TURBONETICS turbo yet, but Eric said he can "Turn the injectors down" to make them work with the turbo...:umno:

I want as much power out of this damn thing as I can possibly afford, and with the parts I'm putting in it...why hold back now???:bang

As far as lag...I would guess it would have spooled pretty quick with 200's. (Prolly smoke like a mofo till it lit thou...)
The stock turbo was a 58mm, and Josh said "Don't even THINK about trying to run the stock turbo with those injectors...":badidea:

If I was to hazard a guess, I think the 61mm would be a good match with 175-180cc injectors...but that is a GUESS only...I never tried it with stock injectors, and I'm not using it with the new injectors.
