Has anyone ran one of these charger on a CR 5.9? Looking into a 75/83/.90 T4

What would be better 83 or 87 wheel and which housing would be best? .90 or 1.00
Just a weekend driver, still would like some drivability around town but not concerned with some lag. Was concerned about drive pressure and spool. Which size wheel and housing would be best? Also your alls opinions on s472 vs s475.

What's the rest of your setup? I would say the smallest of all wheels and housings for a street ride. Don't expect a S475 to have any kind of street manners.

I run a 75/83/.90 on my 06 its a weekend driver as well. Spools around 2100. What is your fueling set up.

On the Dmax side of things, an 87mm turbine is worlds ahead of the 83. Better spoolup due to the design, as well as better top end flow. I'd try an 87/.90

I have an 2004 dual pumps, 60% injectors. I run an s366 now and it gets hot up top. Wanted the extra turbo to keep egt's down and to have more fun (hp). I have read that drive pressure with the 475/83/.90 is really high on top end. Something about the wheels are to close to the same size??? Thats why i was thinking about the 475/87/.90. I still want some streetability but all I do is driver her on the weekends.

467.7 FMW would be a great charger, spool like your 366 and flows good up top o keep your 366 and put a 480 with it.

Thats what i plan on doing after i try a big single (366 over 480). I also talked to a company that said there isnt much difference between 366 and 467 flow wise, and if i wanted to see a noticeable difference to go with something in the 70mm's of chargers

I would run a 467.7 since you only are running 60% overs. I currently run 100% overs and dual pumps. I would also run a 87 turbine wheel over the 83 that im currently running.

S366 Compressor 66mm inducer, 91mm exducer
Turbine: 80 inducer, 73mm

S467 Compressor 67.7mm inducer, 91mm exducer
Turbine: 83.5 inducer, 74mm

S472 Compressor 72mm inducer,
Turbine: 83.5 inducer, 74mm

S475 Compressor 75mm inducer,
Turbine: 83.5 inducer, 74mm

Wouldnt they all have pretty much the same spool their wheels are almost the same size?

There are three different 87mm turbine wheels.

I'm running a cast 67/83. 60% injectors and 10mm stroker pump. Drives great even on stock tuning I'm running right now. Little smokey for my taste at the bottom end when i crank up the fuel, but I hate anything over a puff at wot. Havnt towed heavy up a mountain or in high altitude with it, just flat ohio and Michigan.

I've run several S475s on my old race truck. Granted it had 100% overs and dual pumps but I still much preferred the 81/87mm turbine wheel to the 74/83mm turbine wheel. Drive pressure was a good 20# higher with the 83mm TW vs the 87mm TW. However, if you have 60% overs the 467/87/.90 would be a good compromise. Feel free to give me a shout and I can share my experience with you on all three of those chargers. I also have 2 of them for sale right now so maybe we can get you set up. 7703660377

I don't know what a 66 flows, used to be in the 80lb range but I can't find it. 467.7 is 94 lbs. I haven't ran either, trying to find something I like myself. What I'm told is that a "box" 467 will spool as good as the 66. I hear they have no trouble making 800hp with them. Probably a little big for me, but might be a slick charger for you.

Looks like 82lbs for a 366. So an extra 12lbs for 467. Depends on how far you take it.

If the spool on the 467 is the same as the S366 then the S475 with lighter billet wheels should spool pretty close. I did some testing today and my current S366 running stock tune spools around 1500rpm. My thinking with billet wheels on an S475 with tuning it should spool around 1800-1900 rpm. Which wouldnt be to bad for a weekend toy. What are yalls thought?
