Standalone CR Sled trucks

Well one that i know of anyway. My brother in law has one and he will be at platte city. The other two are across the river.

Nice hook JT sounds like it is turning some more rpms down the track now. Are you running the gears I sent you?

yeah got the gears in Jason..Just been trying to get this thing dialed in with the new set up..Its startin to come around finally..

How big of a gear were you able to change too? maybe thats classified info, sorry if i shouldnt have asked

yeah sorry, i just was wondering seems like the CR crowd cant get away with running a gear like a 5.13 or 4.88 like the 12V's can so i didnt know if that would change with the Zeus or other standalones.

Rob the truck smokingoat is talking about is a 3.0 truck and it runs good. Wish I had a video from Warren County but he was about 7ft behind Tarr and 2ft behind Kevin Cole.

Yeah they make 4.88 and 5.13 and yes a zues and even efi live a cr can make it work.. its just who will be the first to build a engine to make power there.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahah, u stupid fools.

You can make power up top with a common rail, but why not use the dynamic timing, and flat torque curve to your advantage, instead of spinning it to the moon. With the common rail being so efficent, you can make more power than a mechanically injected engine with the same airflow, and carry a much broader torque curve. It's not a question if they are out there anymore, it's who has them.

Its official. You have been hanging out with this JoeFarmer character way too much. BTW - I'm not worried about being destroyed.

Found this video just looking around, Brad ran good with this last year. Sounds like to me its turning some good RPM. But i also heard he went back to the 12v for the begining of this year for the pull in Louisville. Wonder Why? Couldnt get enough RPM to keep a Unlimited 4 inch single lit? HA. Anybody know if he's back with the CR for the 3.0 class again?

It wasn't because he was worried about keeping the turbo lit, and It wasn't a 4 inch single either. The rpms are more than there, with fuel also. The truck is back to the common rail, 3.0 truck also.

I was being a little sarcastic with the 4 inch single lol. Whats going to be the limit to the CR? Will we ever see one in a mod truck? 6000+ rpm and 1800+ hp?
