Tractor tubes in your slicks?

My rear wheels are 2 piece and it is hard to get those to seal it seems. I haven't had tubes in mine but have been scared too. LOL I'm about ready to purchase new quick times and I will be getting tubes too. The tubes almost cost as much as one tire.

Not sure what you guys are using, but my slicks (if bought new) are $280/each with the racer discount.
 
I haven't done it personally, but I know someone who puts palmolive dishwashing soap (I guess that was the one he used that had worked), on the inside wall of slicks, they will not lose air. Just take it straight from the bottle, squirt it on the iside wall, and smear it on with your hand. He said it works great for him.
