Truckers, lets see your rigs!

C12?!? WEAK SAUCE!!! You better turn that puppy up if you want to get anywhere and not kill yourself on fuel. We've got a truck at work with a C13 that's in a mulch blower tri axle and that thing doesn't have the balls to get out of it's own way. I don't think it even has a Jake on it.

It's a mlb or mbl? I get a steady 5mpg. It sucks but it's very reliable to me. Me Haney over on the truckers report is going to reflash my ecm if my dot goes good in two weeks. It's a slow Turd But it works

Kurt will hook you up. What are you having him do, A good cat file with numbers or PDI? I flashed my dad's C12 with a good straight 430hp file instead of the turd 370\430 multi-torque file that was in it. Good fuel numbers and it's WAY better.
 
Well I'm looking at buying a truck finally and wondering what kind of fuel mileage i can 6NZ C15 will get. Its in a super clean Freightliner classic with a 13 speed and I believe 3.58 gears. I've also been eyeballing a KW W900 with same drivetrain. I pull frameless dumps and the guys I run with run 9400 Intertrashionals with series 60s and they all get around 6. I was planning on at least running a good pcm tune.
 
My T800 is 10 times better off road than my fld. Course the nice part about the freightliner is you dont really care where you take it.
 
My last truck was a 94 fld120 day cab 3406e. I run the rail yards in the twin cities and run all local. So I'm in the yards all day long. Stuff would break off or mess up all the time on my fld it was always getting fixed. The international I have now holds together very very well. We have 5 o.o's where I work with the same truck and they all hold up great with the abuse.
 
I've been talking to the guy that owns the company and he said no go on the freightshaker for dump trailers. They run 9300 and 9400 internationals and have good luck with them. He also recommended a t800 or W900. I have an international dealer like 300 yards down the road so that has some influence on parts but they work on anything
 
And yet my Grandpa has 930k-ish on a 98 FLD112 with an aluminum frame at that pulling a frameless dump its whole life without a bit of trouble from the truck.
 
Just looked through PDI's website, didn't know they had jacked their prices, the stage 1 went up by like $400.

I cant believe that anyone buys anything off of them besides a tune and a manifold. They want $2950 for the 1000 hp CAT cam, which you can go to CAT and buy for $1600.
 
Send me the ECM off that C13. I've got a 500hp euro file that runs good! PDI can make a C12 embarrass a stock 550 C15. Charger swap and a tune and it's 550hp to the ground.:st:

I would love to send it to you and get that done. Only two problems. Can't afford to have the truck down long enough to mail it off and get it back. Other thing is that it's a mulch blowing truck and it's got all kind of computer stuff tied into the truck because of that system and it's been acting weird as hell lately. I just worry that it would throw it off somehow. I know it's just an engine tune but I'm paranoid about stuff like that.

Now we've got a 95 or 96 Autocar that's old and tired with a 60 series in it. We'd love to get that thing woken up a little. I hear that truck used to be the sh!t but it's tired now. Wonder if i could take the ECM off one of our old off road trucks that has a 60 series get if flashed and then swap them?

Just picked up an 06 379 with the Cat accert in it. Whos got the game on tuning these things? Better milage and a little more power, of course the more the better lol. PPB I know people say are good, anything else?
