If I remember correctly the PDI stage 1 tune is around 725hp at the crank, jfaulkner would know for sure as he has a tuned acert. I think they are very reliable at that power level.
I'm not sure how diesel Specs programs are rated.
Acerts love the PDI tunes. The stock chargers easily support 800+ HP and you can keep your foot buried in it all day and the pyro never climbs above 900* on a 100*+ day. The guys I know with PP boxes can't run them above level 3 without them getting hot and the PDI tune adds the same 200hp as the PP box does turned all the way up. I don't know anyone personally with a Diesel Spec tune but I haven't heard anything bad about them. FYI a PDI 475 Stage 1 tune (supposed to be for fuel mileage) was 680hp at the wheels on a dyno. The 550 stage 1 was around 700hp.

Does this help any with fuel on a ACCERT?
If your talking about a BXS/MSX C15 then yes and no. All depends on which tune you choose and what your current mileage is. A guy here with an '06 379 with an MXS was getting 6-6.5 before the tune pulling a propane tank. After the tune his mileage didn't change but the power gain was great. But he drove conservatively anyway. He went with the 475 stage 1 which is geared more for fuel mileage. Some guys have easily gained .5 but I don't know anyone who had one done and lost fuel because of it. The biggest gains I think are the guys with the 625hp C15's. They were known to be pretty bad on fuel stock.Does this help any with fuel on a ACCERT?
They won't say exactly but I've heard that the Acert tunes advance the timing around 8*(back to where it should be, thank you EPA). Can't get too carried away with 18:1 compression.:ft:Thanks J, I sold the BXS I had because of fuel millage. I could only get 5.2-5.5 with that Pete. So that answers my question, we only pull flats in the midwest so fuel millage is more important than power in this case.
Love the radius fenders! Might have to invest in some of those.View attachment 39700

70 ton?
I love the look, but hate how many times a day I stop to raise the trailer on railroad tracks or small hills to keep the neck off of the rear set!LOLLove the radius fenders! Might have to invest in some of those.
