trucks going under the knife

is it really that hard to drop the tank and fix the sending unit ??

edit: Correction on that.... i keep forgetting my truck is lifted, making it a thousand times easier to do ANYTHING underneath it....:bang

update

fixed the sending unit, but busted a rear brake line (not while fixing the unit) also installed the hidden hitch. finally got to take it on a nice drive and im getting 23mpg. im hoping to gain a few mpg by switching to aluminum wheels

:woohoo:

photos to come

Ain't that the truth. Makes everything easier until you are trying to lay on your back and reach that one bolt at the very top of something and your arms aren't quite long enough.

heres a few. the picture of the guages is me crusing at 70 mph

Truck is finally done. no more body work, no more suspension work. just maybe a few tuning session but other than that. after 3 years im done

:rockwoot:

i thought i was done. im redoing my entire air bag setup. getting rid of the leaf springs. moving the bags over the axle and c-notching the frame.

i might try, the hardest problem is figuring out the front end. all the chevy guys can just buy the parts and throw them on. no ones sells and lowering spindels or control arms for dodges. but the hitch will drag with the air out. :evil

heres the notch. another 3 or so inches of drop
