I managed to get the cab on it squared up and 6 of the 8 mounts built. I'll have to remove the top 4 link bars to build the remaining 2. The bed is sitting on the frame, I still need to center it and build the mounts.

The front should be able to drop about another inch and it should sit perfectly level.

Frame color? Suggestions?

I'm thinking Gunmetal and a deep blue would look good under the black cab.
 
Not much of an update. I got most of the steering components finished. Still need to bend the track bar. All of the steering components are made out of 1.5x .250 DOM and chromoly heim joints 3/4 threads and 5/8 eyes With 5/8 Grade 8 hardware. Mounting the gear box was be a major headache. Still not completely sure if I like it.

Motor and trans is mounted.
My JD2 Model 32 bender I converted to Air/ pneumatic, the air cylinder took a dump ans was SLOW!!! And instead of buying a $1400 conversion kit to go Hydraulic. I built my own for about $700 and I can do a 130 degree bend in one stroke and only takes around 15 seconds.
2hp 115v motor and a 3 GPM hyd pump with a log splitter valve. built a small tank, and a 3" x 30" cylinder, then I mounted my tubing notcher.

Still have to redo the front upper control arms out of .250 dom
Build the lower mounts for the front shocks
Build upper and lower mounts for the rear shocks
Mount the rear limiting straps
Build all 4 corner bump stops

I'm not happy with the Motor mounts, so I'm going to rebuild them completely. Then I can start building my fuel tank (hoping for 25+ gallons) and mounting the Air tank(hopefully it fits).

Truck ended up with 9 inches of travel.

I built a removeable engine crossmember to help with the frame flex (due to my crappy design of motor mount on the driver side) I built it around a S400 charger and PDI t4 manifold just in case if I decide I want to go extreme with more air down the road.

Also got the primary (S484) mounted. Routing the exhaust is going to be interesting. the fuel tank and air tank are blocking most of my room to route the exhaust inside the frame.

Last night I spent some time "Placing" the radiator. It's longer than i remember. Going to have to mount the rear shocks before I can actually mount it.

Not much of an update. It's been a hectic 3-4 months with work and having rust ground out of my eye.

I spent a VERY long time trying to decide how and where I was going to mount the radiator. I feel now that it is tucked up underneath the bed nicely with the fan mounted on top, but still have excellent flow once I build louvers on the bottom side and modify the bed floor.

Almost forgot I did get with Todd at Power Driven Diesel. Ordered 2 new baby sx-e turbos. Also picked up a 180 pump I'm going to send Seth to work his magic on.

The new turbos showed up, and are even physically smaller than I thought(which is good) also I'll be running 3 again. S363 on the manifold and the S200sxe-57mm's as primaries. Ordered some 2.5" Vbands for the compressor outlets on the baby chargers. You can see where I added some material to fit the flanges on one of the turbo. I'll also be running .83 divided housings on all 3 chargers. The s200 housings are a T3 flanged size inlet, so I'll be modifying them by cutting, grinding, and welding 2.5" Vbands on them for easy assembly and disassembly, also going to cut off the Exhaust flanges and add 3" Vbands.


the piping will all be v banded and will use flex bellows inline for the vibrations.

Got some work done to the chargers. Got the turbine housings completed on the primaries, just need to finish up on the compressor side on one of them.

I am also a building a new Aluminum fuel tank/cell due to not liking rhe way the old one looked. This one is only going to be 22 gallons and is more basic looking. 12" tall 9" wide and 48" long. Built it out of 5052 .125" sheet, cut it with a jig saw. 3 baffles with 1" holes.
The fitting at the top is the return 3/8 NPT, has 2 vents 1/4 NPT, will build a 2"x.120 round tube filler neck with a vented cap. The square is a piece of 1/4" for the fuel sender. The sump is 3"x8" and 1.5" in depth with a single 12 AN feed, and will mounted on the rear of the tank.
