12 Valve Excursion questions, trying to complete

Id go with the HX for simplicity. Or sell both and get a HE351cw.

!

Well I had some issues with the HX35 so I went ahead and put the 351VGT in and it did fit.

Now to the other items.

Getting kick down cable and shifter linkage hooked up to the 47re. Then adapting the throttle cable to the 12V.

Anybody got any tips on this or adapters that I can purchase?

Ok so I purchased a 12valve throttle cable and that should mount perfectly on the ford gas pedal and the 12valve.

The next item is the trans. I may not get alot of info on this one as I am going from a 5r110 trans cables from the ford to the dodge 47re trans. I may have to fab something up here.

Could you guys post up some pics of your lower radiator hoses so I can get an idea how to do this without getting into the accessories and fan?

Hope you can weld. LOL

2" weld fittings, you need 2x 90* long radius, 1x 45*, and 1x 90* tight radius.

This place is off 275, take the woodland/oldham exit, go west, first right.

You are a funny guy!! Since you live in the same town i will just kidnap you and make you make one for me :)

Thanks for the info. I will look them up. Most of the pics I have found are without A/C and that makes it much easier.

Do most people run without the fan shroud?

I can build another if you have the acc plate off of it and get the parts (you will also need about 2" of straight pipe). Dont ditch the A/C, its easy to keep

I kept the shroud, its really just the top and a sliver of the sides. Mine wasnt on in that pic.

The lower alternator mount, radiator hose inlet, and A/C compressor mount.
