got the motor out yesterday. Now I'm waiting for the motor mounts to get here.

ETH/DEE: I have to do it in the sand because we are in the middle of building a shop. concrete will be done by friday so, when i am done with the motor it will in the shop getting four linked on 2.5 tons and 53'' Michelins.

RedStroke: i used Mounts from DeStroked.

you have to line the motor up yourself then weld the mounts to the crossmember or mark the mounts and drill the holes to bolt them in.

I have sold a few sets from scott and have had no complaints, you just need to make sure you put the correct ones on the correct side

When you get the mounts is there a diagram that shows where they should go on the cross member to get the motor where it belongs?

9 LIVES: No, it does not come with anything but parts. that would've been nice to have a diagram.

Putting a nv4500 5spd in and the clutch was bad. I ordered a South Bend DD Clutch and a HD input shaft should be in next week.

don't waste your time with 2.5's. Ask Lee what a 12 valve does to 2.5 tons.

Did the turbo clear the heater box with out tilting the motor? I had to modify my heater box with the stock turbo in stock loaction.
