Well I had my pump on our test stand at work to do a recalibration. At 21mm it did 451cc's with 191's and no plate.

I used stock 131s(160hp 841 pump), 191s, and we had some 024s in stock.

Im not sure these are the same 024s as everyone loves because they didn't perform how I thought they would. Bosch Part # is 9418270024.
Left = 024s Middle = 191s Right = 131s

Shoulder measurement is
024s - .033"
191s - .030"
181s - .080"

At 1250 test stand rpms and 14.7mm rack
024s - 249.7cc's
191s - 255.1cc's
131s - 198.1cc's

Did you test the 024's at full rack?

See attached pictures of DDP magic delivery valves, let me know if they look different than your stock 024's.

No I didn't bring the 024s to 21mm. I didn't see the point. Im sure there would be a similar change even at full rack between the 3 dv's. And mine look identical to yours.

like I said on CF, those are not 24's. 24's have a .024" shoulder.

Very good info non the less

and by the measurments given by big blue, DDP's come out to be the same as 191's, at least in shoulder height...

Thanks for the info, I'd be curious to see what the 022's would do on a stand if you could get a set.

That is the part number that I used for a back to back comparison with 191's.

Im not doubting you whatsoever. Thank you again for the part # btw. But maybe there is more involved in making power and different dv specs than shoulder height and cc's on a stand. I noticed the bottom is tapered compared to the others. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I posted here, CF, and SouthWestCoalRollers(personal favorite) to get a wider variety of input and to share the results with more ppl. Maybe it'll be helpful to get flow differences.

Since these aren't .024" shouldered dv's, they are something else and have been tested to outperform 191s(5cc's higher) on a dyno which I have ran for a while. So this thread wasn't a total waste I guess.

022's make ~ 10cc's more than a 191, you can take a 131 or a 181 and make it flow as much as a full cut without removing any of the shoulder height.

Weston, at what rpm do the 022's make ~ 10ccs more than a 191? the above tested rpm or ????

I like the info that has been posted, but I would have rather seen a comparison at full rack and about twice the rpm. I assume the differences recorded would have been much larger.

I dont think there would be a huge difference between 21mm and 15mm for comparison. I know the 191s were 50cc's higher at 21mm than my 131s last time i calibrated it. And this time they was a very similar change at 14.7mm. Weston is my 024 part number wrong?

They look like the other 024's I have seen, I don't see them making more power than 191's.

BrettWinspeed just tested them and gained 20hp i think. Do you have another part# for the dvs with .022, .024 shoulders? I tested these on a bosch 711 test stand. Last time I broke the stand by running it at 21mm and 2400 test stand rpms. So this time I didn't want an issue so i did it at about half. I guess i could put it on the bosch 815(80hp) at 21mm so it doesn't hurt the metering system.

I've been thinking about upgrading from my 181's. When you get something ready I'd like to try it out. Ive seen results of just about every fluted DV that people are offering, and I would like to give something new a try.

Me too. I'm glad to hear that things are still moving forward on the delivery valve project.
