14mm p-pumps

I thought that the billet could get up to 21mm? maybe my memory is faulty.

We have built a 20mm billet sigma for an unlimited superstock puller...I have no idea who makes or how we got the plungers, but they can be built :rockwoot:

Another thing about going over 14mm B&P's in any of the P-Pump series is the rack location...a 14mm gives just a little breathing room between the O.D. and the rack, I don't know how someone would ever shoe-horn a 15 or 16 in without having to completely redesign the rack and control until system...maybe one of the CDS guys can enlighten us on this as I'm clueless...

Apparently the mental capacity to type on an internet forum grants you the same insight...so why don't you enlighten us on the ins and outs of 14mm pumps?

Before you make an attack on me for calling you out on constantly ribbing Don on his ideas, explain why you are obsessed with his ideas and thinking.

He may not need a 14mm pump, but I doubt you know enough details of his build to make that call.

He also may have a crazy idea with moving the return fitting location, but he isn't going to hurt a darn thing by trying it...

Don may come off wrong in some posts I'll agree, but a couple minutes on the phone with him will clarify a lot of things. He's trying to learn as much as he can as fast as he can, so he can build a good running rig and build it right the first time...I respect that and hope he does build something that will help push the sport forward :Cheer:

Sorry for the rant, I am beyond sick of everybody on here griping and nay-saying any new ideas...especially from newbies...I have been the stupid newbie and also mouthed the newbies, but luckily I quickly learned that giving them good info rather than smart remarks is more beneficial for everyone

I'm sick of people like you coming on here and defending an ass. I think he has a good idea, but he should act more like an adult.. I'm not ribbing on him. I'm stating fact... I think that Bosch would love to make their barrels and plungers last longer, don't you?

And to remind you all....
  • We don't take to kindly to people telling us how great and smart they are. Especially when it is all their accomplishments in other motorsports. Good for you for having done xxxxx in xxxxx. This ain't that.
  • Don't treat us like idiots when you don't recieve the help and answers you want, or think you deserve.
  • Don't post threads to ask questions so you can get info that you think will prove your new idea is brilliant. We can see what you are doing, and it's not gonna sit well with us.
  • Don't treat us like idiots, and don't expect us to respect you by default. Respect is earned. So earn it. Treating others with respect is a good start.
  • Don't attack our brothers on here. It won't set well, or endear you to us at all. That will reduce our desire to help you.

If you have an idea, prove it to the diesel world. Don't talk about it and not make it happen.. The gasser performance world has been developing since the 40's.. Mod Diesel tractors have been running big boost and horsepower numbers since only the late 70's.. Light duty diesel engines have only been performance orientated since the late 90's.. With the EPA right on diesel engines tail, we can't afford to have good ideas go to waste. Just think where we would be if Rudolf Diesel wasn't murdered....

we gonna run dual maxed out ve pumps (yea, two of em) with 5x25 international injectors

Don't hate on the IH injectors too much Don...:hehe:...you might be wanting a set if you need some shower heads for nozzles like some of our pullers do...:rockwoot:
