2010 Ozark Blackouts- Rogersville, Mo

Oh ok. Just letting him know. I think that would be deadly on a set of cut tires!! Did you go with Gary to TX?

I was there when it got rained out this year and I picked up several sharp rocks the size of golf balls.

i have pulled both times they had it this year and plan on having mine done before the next one. heres a vid of the way the track looks this year.

Here in southern Missouri, that's what we call gravel!!!!!!:poke:

You mean there in Southern Missouri. Thats what you call a pulling track!LOL It was like 4th of July under the sled when I pulled. I didn't care though. It was going to be my last pull of the year last year. So I said what the heck! And it was a LONG drive and I wasn't turning around and going back without pulling. Just wish I hadn't blown that hose and would have ran the big gear like Gilmore said. I sure thought I could put it on that dirt pile with the slower gear. Oh well.

the track is ten times better than it was when u pulled there last year.

as far as the sharp rocks the size of golf balls in the track, i hadnt seen any, and i was laying on the track for a couple minutes

the maine guy from baileys come up to me right after it, and asked if i had slip yokes, well of course i did so he told me to pull the rear shaft and then they would unhook me. while i was still under the truck, the sled slammed into my truck and my truck dang near ran over me

Ed that sled operator should have got a talkin too after he about ran you over. The track is very nice, I think, haven't seen any rocks and it pulls well.

the guy from baileys gave him a chewing i believe. it scared the **** outa me  should have waited till it was un hooked before i pulled the drive shaft. even then, there shouldnt have been any reason for the sled to slam into my truck. he it it hard enough it left a dent in the hitch. just glad it hit the hitch instead of the ass end of my truck

I was reading over the rules and in 2.8 it says no water, but I know a truck was allowed to run water.

Then in the 2.6 class it requires protrusion of the wheel and I know of trucks that bushed down.

So the rules that are on this website the rules or are there other rules?

TAKIN' CARE OF DIESEL PICKUPS IN THE OZARKS!

those are supposed to be the rules, but they barely checked the trucks. i know in the work stock class, all the checked was the weight and hitch hieght, and that was it. didnt even pop the hoods
