Allright i have been busy and havent had time to respond to all the things i have been hearing this yr about the mod class, so hear it goes! First off for you guys bashing our class and saying not even worth watching anymore is hard to swallow as we our trying to put diesel trucks in the spot light with all the other classes and our own community is not backing us or showing there full support! 2nd to say billit blocks are not the thing to go with without having the knowledge to know what is happening with blocks is pretty ridiculous, the billit blocks my 2 ericks and straleys have NEVER failed! its the parts thats in them, and as far as this yr im still on my first set of bearing rods pistons and everything, i know that could change tommorow but to only have minor problems, ( valve train) the entire yr is pretty remarkable in its self! i understand you want to see more trucks in our class just like everyone else but this is the yr everyone is stepping up in hp and when you do that you find problems! we went thru alot of growing pains last yr but this yr it has been great! Lets see here this is guestamation but me erick and straley still have our blocks and running them, kellogg on #4 haisley on #2 scheid #2 i think miller on # 2 or 3 not sure im not trying to bash them at all! but what im saying is no matter what happends we can still reuse our blocks thats something you cant say for a cast! and as for cost add what it cost in cast blocks in a lifetime up to run and compare that to a one time cost of a billit block..... now for breakage! just like every class you have it, its gonna happend more so in our class, everyone in our class is running good and doing things that has never been done! so just because they split a block dont give you the right to bash them or say the class isnt good. cause when we were pushing the limit last yr and people were using proven parts and making hook after hook you just thought we couldnt get a engine to live, well after one yr of r&d we've achieved consistency, while everyone is back to trying new things and pushing the limits this yr, that means they should be consistent next yr as it takes about an entire yr to figure out a setup. now lets talk 3 turbos! Its easy to say the class is getting out of control or they'll never get it to work is crazy! Erick and Ben did not get dyno time to dial it in, everyone is a learning expreince and when you producing that much hp in the dark everyone is a learning experience! how soon do we forget that scheids took an entire yr off and dyno there new 3 turbo setup..... guess what erick and ben didnt have that chance. the whole reason of going with 3 is more air less boost to be able to make run after run and not tear up an engine, but untill you get it figured out you will be making crazy boost which is hard on parts as we all know, like 200lbs of boost! but when they get it dialed in it will be much much less then that. this is not ment to be rude or mean to anyone, its just hard to sit back and read this stuff when we ALL Stacey, Kellogg, haisley me, straley scheids travel all over the country side for pretty much nothing to support and get diesel trucks out there in the sport light, and to check back here and read what i was reading about our class. Im not asking you to put up the money to run in our class ( but that would be great ) but to just support us or the class will die out when our own dont support us! And as for limitations if we wanted limits we would have all built a truck for that limited class, the great thing about this class is if you can think of it you can do it! every yr someone else is coming out with a setup that is unthinkable, something you guys say that it will never work, well guess what it does and will, not so long ago there was people that thought 2 turbos on a diesel truck was unthinkable and unliveable well folks i think were past that point and soon we will be past the naysaying of billit blocks and 3 turbos, cause four turbos would just be the CATS @$$!! $.02
