427 ci so cal diesel stroker kit

454 rockett tags could be put on said vehicle :rockwoot:

Since w are all on the verge of Billet blocks ( Meaning I see them coming for Powerstrokes and Duramaxes soon)

Why not go all out well couldn't do it in Pulling (RULES)

Why not a 502 or a 572 Duramax? :what::woohoo::woohoo:

i dont think the bore center is wide enough to put that large of a piston in a stock block..

502 is 4.470x4.00 on a BBC and 572 is 4.5x4.5

you get into alot of block problem with bores that big... iirc bbc is siamess cylinders were as the dmax is not...

not to say it cannt be dont...

a 454dmax... could spool a 3" charger easy enough for a DD application pendign setup.

CLIMAX isn't even that big hes had that thing out on the street it's a 3.0 :rockwoot:

i dont know how big kyle motor is... in know a several poepl that have DD a 3.0 truck on a regualr basis.. basicly you dont really tow anything except groceries...

a 2.8 dmax you can still tow quite a bit..

adding ~50" would bring the 3.0 charge to the handling charateristic os a 2.8 of even possible a close to a 2.6 charger...

shot jsut adding 8 inches from a .040 over block iincreses spooling and repsonsiveness of my turbo by 100-200rpms roughly

Yeah Im sure theres plenty more of bigger 3.0 trucks out there daily Driving I'm surprised imnot seeing them go on Powerstrokes more often Esp. the 7.3

To me it's all a matter of opinion and how you drive it. Everyone told me that my old A5K wasn't good for DD but it did fine. I don't tow with my truck I got a 12V dually for all heavy duties.

Most my DD ever sees is a Quad or Sled in the Bed.

7.3 are limited via HUEI fuel system :bang among other things

Well of course it is. But there is supposed to be more good things coming this year. I heard new Tuning in the Works with a ECM. I see more P Pump swaps coming out.

Back to the Duramax stroker. Is anyone even running one yet?

Are there any that are DD one?

I have a friend that called about he cause he thought it would be sweet but when they talked I guess he was saying the Streetability would need alot of Tuning and a good street cam.

There is a few people running the stroker as daily drivers but its not going to be a drop in turn the key and go play. I would suggest staying with stock stroke for the money if you have no intentions on drag or sled pulling the truck.
You can get a 700hp daily driver and still hook to the trailer. Stroker for a daily driver is a little excessive.

Then again we are currently building one right now with a two GT42's and a Big Blower on top so excessive kinda gets thrown out the window..... LOL's

Wait a minute the LMM is getting a stroker also? Is that what your saying?

I mean I thought about the Stroker for a DMAX in the Work Stock Class LOL to get a little edge on the Competition. LOL LOL

Actually we have a 7.3 powerstroke right now running a turbonetics midframe all by its lonesome. Cruising around at about 7 psi then rolling up to 40 psi real easy.:Cheer:

figured a ford guy would jump on that :poke:

about the same way the injectors are limiting on cummins.

I just finished offset grinding a stock forged crank as far as I possibly could . Funny thing ,I didn’t increase the stroke
