For $5000 you think they could make the threads on the shaft go all the way threw the nut.

Not for sure yet. Gotta ok it. But AirDog plans to sponsor a truck into the event. Any vendor would be crazy not to!! Just hope I can make it down to the event. Sounds great!
Got your eye on one yet!:pop:

I just hope this race turns out to be a big success and the bickering over the rules doesn't bring it down. I had talked to some of the other racing organizations years ago about doing this and getting the prize money up there enough to make the traveling half way across the country worth it for the racer. None of them were interested or thought it would fly. It takes guys that are racers like Jeff, David and Gary to make it happen. My hat is off to you guys  Lets make this thing work so we can have many more like it.

These pulling trucks you speak of are flywheel HP. That's a big differance. Most all drag guy's are back tire HP. 850 will get a minum weight truck that hooks good in the 10's. I have run 10.40's with 900 hp(at the tire). I'm reallt surprised they are going the turbo route they are after all the fighting with the pulling guy's over turbo's. Rock on this should be a kick a$$ time. Jeff

Really? do all the pullers claim that flywheel crap? In that case, I'm 950hp. I should change my sig.

For 5 bucks I could teach you to spell through, Full Pull is right that's ridiculous.

I'll give you $10. My degree is in Geology of petroleum, it took dating my second semester rhetoric and comp TA, to get a C , on the third try .

I suggested a 50 mile drive, 25 out , and 25 back, thru the town and back, by every TV and Radio station , and then to the staging lanes , this would also garner support for the race in the local area. Picture 100 trucks, with flags, and windshield decals. SUPER STOCK DIESEL

This is done during Hot Rod Drag Week, and the locals turn out, as well as news media, with this we would not be limited to just two lanes , during a normal bracket weekend. We could also have a Bracket race for the other 84 people that don’t qualify

They may claim it but most of them don't want anyone to know what they are actually making. Dyno's are just a comparison anyway and most of them don't seem to relate to track times. As said before there a 1200 hp dyno queens that can't run 12 sec down the track.

The real winners here are going to be the builders of hot 2.6`s....cha-ching. Rules are meant to be stretched....

Funny, I thought you'd have a degree in basket weaving if you had any sort of degree.

Should we start calling your Dr. Comp461 now, since you're collage edumacated and all?

Nope. the winner will be the team with the best driver. On a Pro Tree you better be on your game. :pro:

Can they accept quicker transactions - such as credit cards, wire transfers or greenbacks in a sack?

Jeff started to go the CC route but then Quickly realized that the 3% charge for each $500 would rack up a big bill....He's already going to sponsor a truck other than his own, so I don't blame him for keeping cost down that way.

Greenbacks won't be turned down at all...But you'd be hard pressed to find someone willing to send it in the mail....lol

Wires ? ....... Hmm I never asked.....So, No for now...

BTW Jeff recieved a check from a competitor in Canada that'll be coming approx. 3200 miles for this race!!!

That's just awesome!!!

Dude from Canada gets a check all the way to Georgia in a couple of days. It takes my electric bill a week and a half to make it to the other side of Denver!:lolly:

The guys name is Roger Smith with a 08 Ford. He said he was 1800 miles from the kansas NHRDA race! :Cheer:

Is David Dunbar bring the dyno if it has already be said sorry i didn't feel like reading 26 pages

it's going to be a great time

Great Idea...Will have to invite him if Jeff hasn't already...

But to be honest, any time Jeff puts on or comes up with Any type of an event, Its just an unwritten rule and understanding that the main man Dunbar is invited!!!!
