a 50/50 or pay 3 places for a dyno side competition for the people that cant be in the competition due to rules of what have not, would be pretty cool.
 
The guys name is Roger Smith with a 08 Ford. He said he was 1800 miles from the kansas NHRDA race! :Cheer:

I know him loves to race, not much left of that truck. This is it in the finals of Superstreet in Topeka. He lost to Brian Spooner who I think might come as well. Both are from Canada. Both of these guy run singles and spray.

Topeka KS, NHRDA World Championships. The final race between Brian Spooner out of Lloydminster AB and Roger Smith out of Elk Point AB. Brian takes the title home with Roger in a close second!

Really? do all the pullers claim that flywheel crap? In that case, I'm 950hp. I should change my sig.

What do you think an engine would make on a chassis dyno with a 5.13 gear and a charger that would come on boost around 2500-3000RPM? You must be the only Dodge customer to receive a truck with the hp rating measured @ the tire also.
 
Has the date been set? Sorry if I missed it, but I scanner through this thread and havent seen a set date. I am trying to get my rooms and flight done.

Also if anyone in Texas wants to fly and needs a room, let me know I will be leaving out of SA or Houston airport and my wife works for Hilton so we can get deals on the rooms. Share a rental car ect... just trying to make it as cheap as we can.

Most talk wheel hp. I assume hp is wheel. most folks I know do.

I can give a rates ass about factory flywheel hp anymore.

If you can't spool the "truck" you speced out, then you're on the wrong chassis dyno, using the wrong injectors, or learn to tune!!! :) :stab:

I know a couple central ohio trucks that are in between. 800-1000hp at the wheels in the 2.6 class. we just cant get down to 6000lbs so Its pointless for us to even try..lol

I have no doubt that it isn't possible at the wheels for 800...

1000. But then again, I'm not too deep into the really trick stuff that can be done with these turbo's. However, I did manage to hit that 760 mark with my old 64 any everyone thought that was impossible. :)
 
well I know there has been a proven 100hp diff. between a cheater s400 2.6 charger custom cover and wheel and a cheater s400 charger with a protruding wheel and factory map. I have a protruding wheel all season and factory map.
 
I also understand alot of ddyno's are diff..hell my old car did 400 on one dyno then put it on buschurs dyno''mustang dyno'' and did 325... they said thats one badd ass 11.80 car for only 320 hp...haha..
 
I got the call the race was built around the s300 sized chargers and was for the average customer type person who would have a phat shaft or similar turbo. Maybe making 700 or so HP. This sounded great.

Now it is a Schiiiid 2.6 turbo rule. This takes it from the average customer to a class of trucks that will be needing a roll bar system, stand alone ECM's, and other not so average stuff to win a heads up race in which you need the most HP you can produce. Some will reach 1000 HP. Not an average number. Ever price a custom turbo with a clipped custom wheel?

Every competitive truck will now run way faster than an 11.50. This will also bring in back half suspensions, slick tires, PCM controlled transmissions and all kinds of other things that are not so average as well.

I love the concept of thanking the average diesel product consumer with a race, but they dont have roll bar systems, back half suspensions and things of this type in their average truck.

Im sure I will get the usual: Eff U Don stuff.
