5500 Rpm 24v

Here is some more for you. I have talked to Bill heyen quite a bit since he does alot of work on my buddy Bryces truck and he runs all of EEP's setup including their custom bridges and he handed me about 4 or 5 of them that broke in half. He said he has never had stock bridges break and runs stock bridges now with everything else from EEP. More food for thought huh.

we have now gone with costom valves, springs, retainers and bridges. the bridges were done by a buddy with a cnc mill and the rest are "off the shelf" parts for another aplication. If you are interested PM me.

I will be using stock bridges, locks, and using aftemarket retainers.

Why not just stick to the 12v head????? I was always told that the 12v head was the only way to go. And cheaper....

U run what u want and I will do the same, this subject has been hashed over and over I still have seen no flow numbers to prove 1 way or the other so what do u have to back it up? Cheaper we can both agree on that!!! :Cheer:

Sometimes its good to b different and stray away from the common

I'm just going with what the big dogs tell me. I will agree with the 4valves per cylinder should flow more air. What I been told that it is the volicty and the location of the air enterence in the cylinder is where the 12v heads works better. I don't know this if it is true or not. I know that 12v motors are usually at the top of the classes. But hey what do I know. I'm a bodyman not diesel engine builder, But I'm learning. :bang

Im in the same boat but I ran a 12v head last year and goin to run a 24v head this year I figured I will give it a try.

brandon dont even talk about cheap...u cant find a 24v head ANYWHERE for what i sold it to you...not even close

heck, you cant even find a USED valve cover for the price i sold the head to u:poke:

What brand and application retainers will you be using?

why not jump up to the heavier parts

I swear this is as close to a complete sentece as I have ever seen you post. And I still dont have a damn clue what you said. For the love of god, grammer and punctuation are not that difficult.

my 4 valve head seems to work pretty darn good, im a firm believer in them u just have to find the right guy that knows what he's doing.... and brandons will be a darn good runnin truck!

x2 If its anything like his truck last year. I thought i saw alot of big guys running a 24v head with the John Deere injectors. At least it sure looked like a 24v valve cover. Guess they could of just opened up two to make one hole.
