66/71 daily driver?

I have heard of a lot of guys like the 66/71/14, I run a 66/74/16 and its a little laggy and does not like a trailer but I do it. I am running sdx5x16 and a turned up 215 but stock cam I think the 14 would be a lot better than a 16 housing.
 
Which would be best for a dd the 66/71/14 or 66/74/14 what would be the performance differnces.
