Anybody have one?

Dont ask why, you dont want to know.:nail:

:thankyou2:

The idea I have in my head is so stupid it cant possibly work. :hehe:

I can tell you that I need to find 2 Super40's with non gated housings that are .8 a/r or 12cm. Cant remember if they make a 12 for a 40 frame.

Honestly....nothing about my plan has the engine's life span in it. LOL

Triples it is. I'm thinking is that a small set will be good to learn on with a cheapo engine till I build something full on. Hopefully these will limit me to
just at 1000hp. That will let me keep oem drivetraing for a bit.

I'll look into the 351's again, the exhaust housing on them is real small though. Somewhere in the 28cm combined area would be a good fit. I will still be turning 5k on it.

If roachie builds it, it more than likely won't be much of a redneck rendition

i'll post some pics of the beast in a few, looks like it wasent hard to put together, fitting it in there would be the real issue!

Nothing a good torch and sledge hammer couldn't fit LOL.

I remember when twin turbos were the coolest thing on the block and only the baddest of the bad had em. Now they are so common and people are out growing them we are going to triples. Aint progression fun?

here it is, course you guys probly know all about this but i thought i'd throw in a visual stimulant

After talking to someone I really trust, I think you would be better using hx35s,Hx40 will be very slow spooling and are a bomb waiting to go off

Why not run the HE351's with external gates?

They would be enough cheaper than a Super HX40 that it would probably offset the cost of the wastegate.

The cheapest you will find a super HX40 is probably $500-600 if you get lucky.

The HE351's can be had for $300 or so a piece and will spool better and flow as good as the Super 40 on the compressor side. Like you said though, the super 40 would probably flow a little better on the exhaust side.

Also, the smallest housing they make for an HX40 is 16cm which leaves you with a combined 32cm housing size. You could always run Hybrid HX35's, but then there really is no advantage to that over the HE351cw, and they are also harder to find and more expensive than the 351.
