This quote is bad information. The HE351cw is not a v-band clamped housing, but rather a big c-clip.

The HE351ve variable geometry does have a v-band clamped compressor housing. The v-band flange of the HE351ve is not the same size as the v-band flange of the WH1C.

So if 351ve is not compatible with WH1C, then 351ve is not compatible with WH1E.

Is it possible to machine the flange on the WH1E compressor cover and make it fit, I don't know.

I' pretty sure you can fit a WH1E compressor housing with some slight work done to it (60mm wheel & V band housing)

I dont know if we have a WH1E core at the shop, if yes ill have a closer look to this option

Question for you, what size of top charger (secondary) are you planing to go with ?

will the WH1E cover fit on a WH1C? I have a hx40 7 blade wheel that I want to put on my WH1C but need a cover that fits it.
