700HP in a VP????

Whats it going to take.

Right now i am hitting 565hp. Wondering whats it going to take to get over 650 on fuel???

I figure

II 11holes/super dragons
Cam Haisely street puller is what i have
valve springs Hamilton Diesel is what i have
Push rods?
Head work
HRVP
Electronics???
II silver 64 is what i have want to stay with a single
Spearco Intercooler ITs in the mail
FASS considering something else but have one as of right now


What else is it going to take????? Or is it possible???
 
I dunno man.....700 is pretty hefty. any VP over 6 bills with a single is pretty stout.
 
Thats what i was kindof thinking. I am going to stick a set of II 11holes in and the spearco see what i gain. Maybe i will break 600hp. I guess i am at the point were the little things are next. Maybe a intake horn and swaping boxes around.
 
Well nobody I am aware of has actually made over 700 RWHP with a VP only on #2. If thats your goal you will have to ditch the 64 for a really good set of twins. You will need something that spools like crazy so you can get everything going fast. As for injectors I never had any luck with the 11 holes. F1 injectors just always seemed to come out on top!

I ran a 699.7 on #2 only on maddogs dyno in edmonton. No Nitrous or methanol I was all out from the other fun that day. See the sig.....
 
you will not break 600 on fuel with a 64mm turbo. will either need ATLEAST a 66mm or twins.

Edmonton is at 2200 MSL, this would bring the CF up quite a bit. Do you know the uncorrected number?

Edmonton is at 2200 MSL, this would bring the CF up quite a bit. Do you know the uncorrected number?

I was told they were all uncorrected numbers that day.

I got it from Barry at NADP, so I would assume it's an II.

So your telling me that i can not gain another 35hp with the addition of a spearco and some bigger injectors. I find that hard to beleive. When i made 565hp with the 10holes with lift and the 64/14 it cleared up and didnt get over 1300deg. I am pritty sure there is atleast another 35hp with some bigger sticks.

i have not heard of a truck running over 600hp on a 64 or smaller single turbo. just becuase you are getting bigger sticks does not mean more hp. in some most cases you will lose hp on the dyno inless you have the air supply to go with them.
 
i pulled 555hp with a 66/14....went to the twins and up dated to the drag comp and pulled 623hp and 1175

i am not sure if your going to hit 600....with more fuel you are going to need more air to make the HP....fuel alone wont do it
 
if the spearco is as efficient as they say they are...and your pyro is truly telling you that you are only seeing 1300 ot your current 565hp...then yes i think that 64 will be able to break the 600hp barrier...but im also gonna say those 11 holers are not gonna do it...i like II's stuff, but those 11 hole injectors just dont seem to be doing it for these trucks. bigblue had to take his out, they didnt work right with a stock pump, but they are smokey and pretty warm.

i think a set of nice EDM 7-holes will do the trick, with less smoke and heat.

i did 571 with my DDP 7-holes, and 581 with mach 7 which are 7-holes, and i can clean the smoke up with a 66mm charger, and EGT's were not high at all.

i agree 100%. at hollister i did 497 with HRVP and Mach 7s alone and that was with a silver bullet , no elcetronics. i dought a 64 will do 600 or over as i have never heard of a 64 doing 600 plus hp .
 
Ill betcha a bottle of fourty creek it will too. As clean as it ran at 565hp in should handle another 35hp with the intercooler. And if it dont i will do my damnedest to get it done. But hey we will find out on feb 22nd. And i will post a dyno to go along with it.

My Edge pyro and my mech pyro both read 1300deg. So we will see. and then i will have a 600hp haul truck. Right now at 565 i am pulling a trailer about 500 to 700miles a week and it never even heats up the water temp above 210 so i am 100% sure my pyros r working correctly.
