700HP in a VP????

well i hope you do it. i am by all means not trying to put you down and say you cant, i am just saying i have never heard of a 64mm or smaller laying down 600hp or more on a VP truck.

You will need more air for 700 at least a 66mm and a cam and lots of porting.

Best of Luck.

No way a 64 mm turbo is going to make 700 RWHP, even a single 66 is going to be too little. The problem for the 24v guys is rpm and fueling. You need to be able to get the turbos spooled completely by 2700-2900 RPM in order to make big HP. This applies unless you want to change to a redline box and build the internals to make HP at a higher RPM.

I think Doug's done it with a steroid b-1 =P

Already have the cam and the porting. Wonder how a set of just dyno setup twins would be with a 64/14 on top of a s400 would work out????

it will be a little harder to spool a 64/14 in a twin set-up on a dyno but that will be a lot better then just the single.

Justin, why don't you call II and see how much they'd charge to convert your turbo to a 62/14? That would spool better on the dyno and on the street but would still be plenty of air for 650hp or so.

Wat?

I'm sure jared was just being sarcastic. Not to mention he tends to do stuff the hard way. LOL

I just sent my old GSD 64/14 to industrial and they took me for $1200 to up grade it to the silver 64. It was well worth it. 100 times better than the old one.
We will just see what your injectors and the spearco can do then i will go from there. Surely they should make atleast 35hp.

while I agree, they might do it...dont get your hopes up. if your set-up is not right for those injectors, you wont be so happy when you walk away, but good luck to ya and let me know how it goes!

PS- as soon as I get my springs installed and the new box on the truck ill be headed to the dyno again, not worried about peak numbers but looking to see if i can change my dyno graph from a mountain peak to a plateau straight across to 4k

TJ, from what industrial has told me his truck should be setup just right to get another 35hp from my injectors. I saw a truck dyno with my injectors and twins and it did 590hp with I believe just a juice and a smarty.

Plenty of fuel just gotta get it to burn... and yes I like to do it the hard way, like pulling a trailer to a dyno, unhooking , laying down 590/1220ish (maxed the Tq at 1200) then hooking back up and driving off to a 100mile away destination. I also am shooting at 650hp but with the H20...

I'm assuming you are selling him some 11 holers to try?

I did 593 hp and 1340 ftlbs with a drag comp and smarty set on #2 with 11 holes and twins. Twins cleaned up the smoke pretty good and didn't run hot either. Didn't get a chance to run the water and see if I could break 600...
If someone's in need of some 11 hole injectors give me a PM, I may be changing directions for this summer...
