The above link is just to put overdrive on the 3 speed 727's and such. You might be able to put lock up on a 727 with a 47rh valve body but I'm not 100% sure. I know the case on the RH rear corner has fins to add strength due to early failures in the late 518's from what I have been told by big trans builders. I was going to try to switch a 727 over long ago but just came up with a 47rh instead.

Chase, what's wrong with your OD? I'm guessing it isn't really needed with your big tires?

must have miss read the info i thought it was a tc lockup kit not overdrive

Ryan my overdrive went out shortly after putting the truck together low rpms,stock valvebody and torque killed it
75mph 1500 rpms is what killed it
