Adrenaline came in today???

I don't know what all the comp tune has but it does fuel really hard. 4000rpms????? I don't know, and I am not trying for 4K without some springs first.

Yeah i already have all that in check. I have some used PDR springs i am selling. I had my head at the mechine shop 5 hours away with the springs on it and found out my head was trash so i just went to Zach at Hamilton diesel and got some from him so i wouldnt have any more down time. And now i just have these setting around.
 
LOAD THE COMP TUNE!! im running it right now and it is like an on/off switch at 1/4 throttle and fuels really hard, it puts my old drag comp to shame! with your setup you are going to be a happy man. i took mine up to 3500 rpm and it was still pulling with no signs of stopping. let us know how it goes!!
 
Two guys on DTR lost their trannies to the Comp tune already. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have the stoutest of stout trannies.


I agree though... not sure I'm a fan of defueling(but all that will be user adjustable anyways). If I wanted the truck to slow down I'd let of the go pedal, if I wanted the EGTs to stay under 1250 then I'd let off the go pedal, and so on and so forth.
 
I can attest to the above post. First day out I lost my tranny. gets rebuilt on Friday. This comp tune fuel HARD and very fast. You will love it , but be prepared, if your stuff is weak, this box will find it.
 
That is what mine is running too, what about the buckin around every now and then? Is that the surging you and a couple others were talkin about. Other than those two things the box works great

Yes it is. Careful, that reaks havoc on your driveline. Ask the two guys on DTR. I definately put my billet tranny to the test :hehe:

ok, somebody run this damn box to 4k and lets see if it has it in it, all i here is how great it is. if it doesnt hit 4k or better it is no better than my smarty to me.

i am sure it will turn 4k....but will it make power at 4k is the question....PRM means nothing unless it's making power,...i am sure someone soon will hit the rollers and show a graph

Ditto!!!! I second that statement. Mine was broken on Valentines day!

I do understand that. I have the same as your old set up. not for sure if you had a cam or not. I believe i can make more power up there.

Too a point mayb put if u type it in on most gear and rpm calculators u are still going faster with more RPMS , in some cases the extra RPM will help given the situation

that comp tune and my big sticks dont make a good combination...cant even take it to WOT w/o shuttering like a MOFO...
