Adrenaline came in today???

c as of now its no better than my smarty. Some people had problems with the smarty at first also with the bucking and stuff. mine does it to with the big inj. and the tst on 9 but on lower settings its fine.

i do want to see quad come out with a good box but i keep hearing its the chit just like the smarty when it first came out.

i just want a fueling box to fuel up to or above 4k. as of now the redline is the only one. some say this box can and others say no. To me thats a no it cannot if theres mixed opinions.

Same here i just got it in tonight. And let me tell you its nasty when if fuels but i cant even let it eat all the way down the 1/4 without my truck feeling like its going to spit the driveline out.

Even in N if i rev it out at about 3800rpm it starts sputtering like crazy. guess i am going to try a different tune.

double j recommended i try the production tune 1000's ...and i downloaded 1006 so i could have the 3 minute TT (very cool btw). i can take it pretty long @ WOT but there is still some sputtering. PL08 is better though. PL08 still pulls way harder than the drag comp:rockwoot:

for me its anything above PL02...PL02 with the comp tune was decent through out the entire powerband
 
I am not so happy with this adr. I dont think my truck like it very much. I really need to just find a good pl that doesnt doo al the bucking and sputtering and compare it the the smarty and edge stack on the dyno.

It just feels like if your running a lower PL then are you getting the same about of power out of it compared to the smarty edge stack when on 6 and 8????

What tune are you running? The production tuning is best for big sticks.

I will guarantee you that the production tune doesnt pull has hard as the smarty edge stack.

I have tried all three tunes and the only one that doesnt act up is the production tune.
 
I have no problem with the agressive tunes with my 150s. Still waiting on the comp tunes toget fix.:evil

i never ran the smarty/comp stack with my prostreet so its difficult to compare...but are you saying that out of a direct comparison or just speculating??

even the production tune is raspy and stumbles with my EDMs...only around 3000 rpm though
 
Yeah for sure the smarty fuels harder on the bottom end. I still have mine and plan on trying to make it to a dyno to compare the smarty edge stack and the adr. I just dont feel comfortable running the adr on such a low setting i just dont feel like i am getting my $ worth if you know what i mean.

but heck how know the adr might make as much power on a lower setting then the edge/smarty.

When i can run the Comp tune its absolutly crazy. But it feels like my driveline is going to jump out on the road it bucks and sputters so bad.

yup mine and a few others is the same way...have you tried a production tune like an ADR1000...PL08 runs excellent till about 3000rpm then it will stumble/miss
 
Yeah i have tried pritty much every tune. And i am not happy. I will admit that its very impressive but i just can get the sputtering and bucking out of the way. I ran the comp tune lastnight and as long as i am at full throttle it will never miss a beat. But as soon as i back out of it it gets very vicious with my driveline. However i didnt realize that the adr doesnt get rid of the traction managment. So when i leave the line it defuels and then it starts bucking and sputtering because the truck is defuel. So off the line the problem is compounded.

I also ran the the production tune and the aggresive tune. The production tune acts ok on the lower PL but it just doesnt feel like the power of the edge on 6 and smarty on 8. But then again the adr feels totaly different since they go about getting the power a different way.

ive got interesting track tested results concerning the smarty/drag comp stack so PM me for details about that...

im also a little dissapointed in the fueling issue...i hope they can fix it or else i might regret the decision of selling the drag comp

It has to be your injectors, my truck is crazy with this box. The comp tune only sputters either after a wot run or while cruising holding a steady pedal. HHave you tried running the production tune & add Smarty to the mix?
