:what: you cant tie in the pulling part of it? a truck is a truck, they are all built on the same concept, and if you like football you know the past champs, and before diesel it was alky and there will be many lessons to be learned there.

A truck is a truck correct. But you have to set a gasser up differnt then diesel. Diesel makes most torque at lower rpm for 1 example gasser the higher the rpm the more it makes. Gearing dont have to be swamped as much Axles or lockers neither does anything eles. I beilve alot of us have learned all are knowledge from Gene. So before u embarrase yourself i would step back and read a little about him. Just a thought though.

Not to still the thread but i dont care if u have 900 hp or not a truck with half that power can and will hand u your ass if set up propley.

Maybe im missing something but if u no this gasser guy so well why isnt this diesel kicking all kinds of ass at all these events. The gasser guy should no what set up to run hell he will built the frame and everything eles. I know money isnt a issue if he has 900 hp. just my .02

i now feel smarter that you have enlighted with the power curve of a diesel engine, i thought the msd box shut them down as well:blahblah1: what is there to setup on a truck that you have to run the stock drive train? move the reese forward set the air in the tires, and go pulling, and when did i ever state that i help mike out? i cant recall, instead of butting in read the whole thread, im sure the whole sledpuller infantry is awaiting a bash towards me because he has been knocked down a few notches and has no real comeback, and he will probably have me banned now. and i am also trying to figure where you say that the actual setup is different, it is not, just longer, you are allowed duals in the classes with dot tires but anything other that that is the same until you get into clutches, gear sets, drop box ratios (the speed in the tranfer case) , input shafts in reversers (trans.), an oh yeah weight, read the damn:rules:. timmy get a hold of me this summer when you are gonna hit a pull, ill have a cold one waiting on ya

Maybe...?

No Hartman listed. House snapped a couple photos, one of a red GMC, might have been it without the new paint. I know the other Dmaxes (#2,3,4, and 10), so it definitely wasn't them.

Yep, you got me, I is :owned:

You really didn't learn anything from this thread, at all, did you?

Not to steal the thread but i dont care if you have 900 hp or not a truck with half that power can and will hand you your ass if set up properly.

Now it's almost understandable...

Before you spend another dime on your truck, please graduate high school or at least buy a spell check program for your computer.
