Arp problem!!!

Is that on the passenger side of the block? If so, I have the same issue. I take the stud and get in as far as I can, then use a hammer to knock it into place. Just be careful not to mess up the threads! Use a rag or something to cover the threads, and firmly tap on it with a hammer. Good luck!

i was worried about the head damaging the threads, they are the passenger side

I don't know how you all got them to fall right in unless you came in from the top. i just beat the firewall back till they would go in on the two trucks ive done.

Try this, get the stud in as far as you can, then thread it in until it drops into the block.. You may have to use some pliers to do this. That way you won't damage the block side threads..

I finally won guys,:snoop: thank you for the advice,:thankyou2: I finally had to man up and do some beating on the fire wall and more cutting with the air saw till they dropped in, I got them all torqued and would have it on the street again but I overtightened an injector hold down bolt and snapped it off in the head :nail:
