Bad vibration

You check the bellhousing to make sure it isnt cracked or broken? That happened to a buddy of mine and took out the entire running gear except diffs.

I took a glimpse, didn't notice anything. I will look a little harder tomorrow.

i have a vibration in mine over 80mph. It is a slight hum almost seems like its coming from the front but Im not 100% sure.

my dad had a similar problem...we eventualy tracked it to a ring gear tooth broke off and jammed it up for a sec,trashing everything

yeah i hear yea there ... 77 chev 3/4T 4x4 ..... what started out to be a bad tooothe on a spider gear ended in an epic ring and pinion explosion ......:ft: .... 2 words .... hill climb .... used a dana 80from a ford .... :evil ... break this you small block oke:
