BAMF Sled Pull Edtion build....!!

Looks real good man, put you don't want greasbale u-joints on a puller! :badidea:

Dave

yeah didnt want it to be indestructible would rather break the shaft than something a lot bigger and more pricey...truck will be making runs down the track and driven on the street also...

greaseable ouch, not aslways a weak link, wne mine broke it took out yoke too, no issues with solid 1480's

I would be more worried about the 2 piece driveshaft than the u-joints myself. They seem to like to wa up when they get in a bind...

2 piece is fine with a bigger carrier bearing, only reason i went to one piece is itpa rules was 4 loops per section of shaft so i would needed 8 in the rear

For a mainly street truck with occasional pulling the 2 piece is just fine. And im sure its fine for a lot of pulling depending on the power, but Josh's 2 piece just didnt hold up last year. Hopefully the 1 piece will do good this year

Hmm, I hope it holds for ya, but we never had any luck with em, and id say it was 600hp or under.

Truck is looking good though. Ill be at TS, so maybe ill get to see ya pull. Have you had it on the dragstrip any before the new mods?
