The West Coast isn't all that matters. The Race Crew, especially, would like to go to East Coast and Mid West events, but we don't have the personnel to run both a full time race/sled pull team and do development work.

Sometimes you guys forget that all of us working on the S-10 and the Dragster have a full time job at Banks other than race specific efforts. It just happens that we have the privilege to work on both product and performance sides of the equation.

I'd love to get into sled pulling, but I don't know if there's enough of a draw for us to have a company project for it. Also, it would be a completely new venture for us; we haven't even really looked at sled pulling in the ways we looked at land speed racing, drag racing, endurance racing, etc. It's still up in the air.
Hope that answers some stuff that Jeff wasn't able to.

Im sure the masses want to see one, Lets see if there is a draw...

A new venture????....."Wasnt the land speed racing, drag racing, endurance racing, etc." A new Venture at one time

Im not trying to start trouble....We just want to see it!!!!! :rockwoot:

I agree totally. The company sells diesel performance products and should be involved in all forms of diesel motorsports.

A smoke free pulling truck?? Bring her on!!! If they can do it more power to them!

smoke free pulling truck, would be sweet to see... come on Banks lets see what you really can do

I am kinda torn, I would like to see what they can come up with, but how fun is it to watch a puller that doesn't smoke? If it did smoke that would go against everything they preach.

Kinda torn there too...........Family op's competing against Banks....kinda hate the sound of it.

BUT, I have a feeling most of them would say bring it on.......

or CNG...:bang

they have never used cng thats what they say but will they ever say what was is that carbon fiber bottle that didnt have a bottle warmer it wasnt nitirous i know that i dont think they would attempt a sled pulling truck they cant use their favorite indgridents nitrous and cng

what if they build a duramax or anything to run on alcohol like on the super stock pulling tractors, would the pulling community let them run?

no smoke is what you asked for not?

Have fun finding a class to run an Alchy truck in! Plus its not hard to build a smoke free Booze burner!!!!

DO IT!!!!! If they are so confident tha smoke free is the way to go, lets see them put their money were their mouth is!

I agree. It would be a great way to help promote the sport of diesel sled pulling. Banks is probably the most known company in diesel performance, and for them to build a truck for pulling would really catch the attention of alot more people.

If Banks builds a smoke free pulling truck it will go through pistons like Courtny love does syringes.

Gale was at TS last year and I am pretty sure he will be at TS again this year. Why don't you guys just find him in the pits and ask him to his face? I spoke to him about all kinds of stuff last year for about a half hour and he was a very good conversationist. He'll tell you exactly what he is thinking.

they have never used cng thats what they say but will they ever say what was is that carbon fiber bottle that didnt have a bottle warmer it wasnt nitirous i know that i dont think they would attempt a sled pulling truck they cant use their favorite indgridents nitrous and cng

You're an idiot if you actually think that the Banks guys are lying to you about using CNG on their truck. Grow up and get the hell over it.
